Is CXM’s system Reliable?  Scalable?
With deployments in 25 countries, the CXM system has proven itself a dependable platform for distributing Ethernet over coax time and again.  CXM high-speed internet access installations range from 40 doors to nearly 3,000 – proving its scalability.

How does the CXM system work?
Using a gateway and small modems, CXM simply creates a new high-speed internet access network over the existing coaxial cable TV wires - using frequencies that do not interfere with other services.
By transporting Ethernet over coax cable already installed at a property, high-speed internet access connections can be quickly created anywhere coax cable TV wires exist.  Modems can be self-installed or quickly installed by our technicians.  Using the existing coax cable speeds-up and simplifies both wired and wireless deployments for hotels, MDUs, resorts, dorms, universities, campuses, outdoor venues, etc…

Is there an advantage to using the existing coaxial cable TV wires?
By using the existing wires in the building, permits for pulling new cables are avoided and labor, time and cost for the installation are significantly reduced.

Can CXM provide installation and support?
ARRIS CXM offers installation as well as 24/7 technical phone support for end users/guests.  Some customers choose to monitor and support their own installations.  We provide free software (X-NET) to allow you to do that.  For those who need a more comprehensive package for alarming, paging and other features, we offer a subscription-based NMS (X-Monitor).  Our gateway also supports SNMP for monitoring.
